One of the engineering marvels of the 19th century, the Rideau Canal consists of a series of beautiful lakes and rivers connected by canals. The full ambience and history of the canal are best experienced on a relaxing cruise through the heart of Ottawa.
As a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Rideau Canal is maintained by Parks Canada and is one of the most scenic waterways in North America. On this specially designed boat tour down the waterway, take in the beautiful scenery and pass by numerous landmarks, including: the National Arts Centre, University of Ottawa, Lansdowne Park, Carleton University, the Experimental Farm, Dow's Lake, and much more!

Note:
*Tour is available from late June until early September. Children under 5 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. This cruise operates subject to weather permitting. The Rideau Canal Dock is located alongside the Government Conference Centre, 5 minutes from Parliament Hill and directly across the street from the Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel.
